Riding a bicycle has a lot of advantages over driving a car. First it is a physical exercise to ride a bicycle. In contrast sitting in the car one tends to gain weight. Besides it is much more economical to ride a bike than drive a car. On the one hand the only fee a bike-rider has to pay is the annual tax. However the annual fees for a car are costly. On the other hand a bike needn't be equipped with a parking lot but a car must. Most important of all it is beneficial to the environment to ride a bicycle because the bike doesn't consume petrol; it is a pollution-free transport. In contrast the exhaust released by the car is harmful to the environment.
Since China is a developing country with a large population bicycles will still be the most popular means of transport in China for quite a long time. Most people will still ride bicycles to go to work or to school. The emperor country of bicycles will remain for at least dozens of years.

I Like Riding BicycleWhen I was very small I felt so envious to see the children riding bicycle I thought they were so cool. So I tried so hard to learn how to ride it. I still remembered the day when I could ride bicycle and I was so proud. Today bicycle is still my favorite transportation. On the one hand I can exercise my body. I ride the bicycle to go to school it is true that I do have the strong body because I barely feel sick. On the other hand riding the bicycle can protect our environment. Bicycle works with our legs instead of the gasoline. The gasoline burns and it lets out the air which can pollute our environment. So taking the bike is a good way to protect our environment. I think I will continue to keep bike as my favorite transportation.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Private CarsRecently years with the rapid development in our country more and more people own their private cars. Some people think that private cars should be restricted while others think that private cars should be encouraged. As far as I concern I think owning a private car has both advantages and disadvantages.
On one hand private cars do bring the owners convenience and comfortable. If you have a car you don’t need to take the bus or subway to work. You can image how crowded and slow when you get on a bus especially during the rush hours. With your own car you just don’t need to worry about this problem. What’s more you can go to any places at any moment with your private car. Traveling by car is very comfortable and flexible. You can stop as you pleased and don’t need to worry about others feeling. I guess this is the biggest advantages of private cars.
On the other hand the disadvantages of private cars are obvious. The noises that produce by cars are unbearable the exhaust gas that cars give off are bad for people’s health. With countless cars on the street people find it becomes harder to find a parking spot. What’s worse tens of thousands people are killed or injured in the traffic accidents.
To sum up private cars provide us with convenience as well as harm. Whether or not afford a private car depends on personal details.
